At Financial Construction Inspections, Inc. our primary business is the inspection and review of construction draws. We include the borrower, general contractor and lender in the review of documentation substantiating a draw. We provide costing services to client lenders. This costing covers the plans and bank cost breakdowns. The procedure is a combination of the builder’s figures from the subcontracts and our in-house database. The cost reviews utilize historical costing methods including individual take offs using the square footage and volume costing methods.

    Dennis Carpenter
   
  • President / Founder, Financial Construction Inspections, Inc. since 1992.
  • Dennis also has an additional 9 years with Security Pacific National Bank as a Vice President / Construction Inspector for the Southern California, Arizona, Colorado & New Mexico areas. The inspections included being responsible for large Shopping Malls, Master Planned Residential Developments and a Hangar / Training Facility for a major air carrier, completion of a hundred-fifteen million dollar ($115,000,000) apartment project in Marina Del Rey as well as a seventy-five million dollar ($75,000,000) high rise apartment complex in down town San Diego.

    Brian Leahy
   
  • Brian has performed inspections since 1995 for FCI.
  • In addition he has 10 years of construction experience for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
 
 
    Ken Carpenter
   
  • Ken has been performing inspections since 1998 for FCI in the Northern California area.
  • In addition he has 25 years construction experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
 
 
    Larry Patton
   
  • Since 2003, Larry's focus is income producing Property Condition Reports as well as new construction projects for FCI; both commercial and residential in the southern California area.

  • Amber has been office manager since 1994. Her general office duties include processing inspection reports, inspection fee invoicing, billing, and accounts receivables.

  • Heather has been company secretary since 2003. Her general office duties include logging new projects, setting up files, generating inspection reports, and preparing & mailing reports.
